Overview

As in most cities, the best way to absorb the sounds and sights of Kuching is to get out of the vehicle and walk. Walk through the main streets of Kuching, passing by historical buildings from the Brooke era. The Indian Street is one of the oldest streets n Kuching, and is home to a colourful, bustling market that sells fruits and vegetables. It opens midway into the famous Gambier Street, renowned for its spices and open air stalls.
