Rural Nights and Sunday Session: Tour of Irish Pubs and Countryside |
Glide through the lush sylvan valleys around Dublin and pull up a stool at quaint rural taprooms
| Overview | |
Drive through some of Ireland’s most beautiful open spaces and raise your glass in lively countryside pubs. Weave your way through the Dublin Mountains and lounge in a beer garden overlooking the city. Have a pint at Johnnie Foxes, a converted farmhouse where Daniel O’Connell used to enjoy a draught, and behold valleys shrouded in fog from atop the Wicklow Mountains. Recline in front of a roaring fireplace with Irish coffee in hand and clap your hands in time to some traditional Irish music at the Snug Bar. The daytime version of this tour takes you to the Meeting of the Waters, where you can enjoy live music in a lovely clearing where two silver rivers converge.
