Visit the picturesque region of Trencin and the famous Piestany Spa on this private sightseeing tour. Beautifully located at the foot of the Strazovskevrchy hills in the valley of the Vah River, the region of Trencin, with its temperate climate, deserves a visit. A rich history, a large number of historical monuments guarantees a trip full of discoveries. The towering and fortified Trencin Castle overlooks the city and its construction probably goes back to the 11th century. The castle has been renovated and is in excellent condition. The fortified castle was built on a huge rock, on which a Roman inscription testifies to Trencin's history. Visit Piestany, which has the best known spa resort in Slovakia. Visitors come from all over the world for the warm springs that are said to have curative properties. The complex of spa houses, the lodgings and the Spa social life are situated in the beautiful park on the "Spa Island". Here you can indulge in some relaxing medical treatments.
