Ride the rails of history into the magnificent Grand Canyon. The Grand Canyon Railroad is a heritage railroad that began conveying visitors into the heart of the Canyon in 1901. It fell into disrepair in the late 1960s, but it’s been lovingly restored to capture the vintage feel of early American locomotives. Pass through stunningly diverse landscapes of thirsty stone and lush forest, which are all powerful testaments to the genius of nature. Enjoy a bus tour of the Grand Canyon and plenty of free time to explore this surreal sculpture garden of stone, which recedes into infinity in all directions. You’ll also be treated to a scenic drive through the Sonoran Desert along Route 66.
