Located an easy 5 minute walk from downtown Queenstown and exclusively accessed by scenic cableway, Skyline Gondola, Restaurant and Luge sits high above town on Bob's Peak and features two Luge tracks, a restaurant, cafe, licensed bar, Kiwi Haka Maori cultural show, souvenir shop and extensive private function facilities. Reputed to be the steepest lift in the Southern Hemisphere, the Gondola carries visitors high above Queenstown to the Skyline complex located on Bob's Peak. The best views in the region are found here, spread out in a spectacular 2200 panorama with observation decks offering breathtaking vistas of Coronet Peak, The Remarkables mountain range and across Lake Wakatipu to Cecil and Walter Peaks. It's truly magnificent and awe-inspiring. The Luge is a fun-filled gravity ride on a three-wheeled cart that uses a unique braking and steering system giving riders full control to alter course and speed. With two tracks to choose from, The Luge offers fun for all ages and abilities.
