On this tour, trek along the Goldfield Trail in the Wooroonooran National Park in Queensland. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Wooroonooran National Park is a beautiful rainforest and home to two of Queensland’s highest mountains: Bartle Frere (1622 meters) and Bellenden Ker (1592 meters). The Park is also home to a variety of flora and fauna, some of which has existed unchanged for millions of years. The Goldfield Trail is a 19 kilometer-long stretch that was once used by the Aborigines. Years later, prospectors traveling to gold fields walked this path and that’s how it got its name. After the trek, you can refresh yourself with a swim in the Mulgrave River. Spend a day with nature on this trek in the Wooroonooran National Park and you will be treated to Queensland’s stunning landscape.
