Enjoy a sightseeing tour of the largest and richest city of Bolivia, Santa Cruz. Founded in 1561 by a Spaniard, this city still retains its colonial flavor despite its obvious affluence and growth.

Walk down streets lined with colonnade-supported awnings and see the city’s magnificent cathedral in the main plaza. The museum of the cathedral has religious artifacts and a thumbnail-sized book!

Other interesting attractions include the House of Culture, the San Roque Church and the Contemporary Art Museum. Get a glimpse of Bolivia’s lowland culture at the Ethnographic Museum, one of the major tourist attractions of Santa Cruz.
