There are two ways to reach Formentor from Puerto de Pollensa, by road and by boat. However, a boat ride can be a truly memorable experience, offering splendid scenery, white-sandy beaches and brilliant blue waters of the Formentor Bay. Take pictures of this horseshoe shaped bay set against the backdrop of the rugged Tramuntana mountain range. The brownish stones of Cabo Formentor are silhouetted against the clear blue waters of the sea, accentuating their rare and savage beauty. At Mallorca’s northern most point, Formentor, a vertical rock of more than 200 metres high affords spectacular views of the pristine beach and the sparkling blue waters of the Mediterranean. Look out for the lighthouse on the cape that marks Mallorca’s northernmost tip.
