In the sacred monkey forest of Alas Kedaton, you will come across huge bats hanging low from the branches and numerous monkeys guarding a sacred temple in the region.

The floating Tanah Lot temple is built on a volcanic out-crop on Bali’s rugged west coast. The temple is believed to be guarded by large sea snakes that reside in caves below the waterline.
