Treat yourself to an exciting five days in Thailand. Begin your holiday at Bangkok, its capital and in a taxi boat, explore Damnoen Saduak (Floating Market). T-shirts, silk dresses, toys, fruits, vegetables, snacks, hats – this market typifies the quintessential image of Thailand. Thai women wearing big straw hats and multi-coloured tops row wooden boats filled with goods along the river. At Cha Am, walk through Sam Roi Yod, Thailand’s first marine national park, and see a rare variety of plants, endangered animals and birds. Climb to the top of “Mirror Mountain” and visit the small monastery there. You can also enjoy views of the harbour and beaches below. En route to Krabi, stop at the Punyaban waterfalls and explore the lush tropical forest and hot springs nearby. From Krabi, take a boat trip to the famous Poda Island, where you can swim and snorkel in the clear waters. Continue by road to the Shell Fossil Beach, also called Susan Hoi and Shell Cemetery, where petrified seashells dating as far back as 75 million years make up huge rock slabs. There is a large Chinese temple near the Shell Cemetery.Explore the beautiful Phang Nga bay where you will cruise past one of the most scenic bays and islands made of limestone. Visit the famous James Bond Island which featured in the movie ‘The Man with the Golden Gun’. Explore Thailand in this five-day trip and learn about its fascinating culture and famous attractions.
