The Royal Automobile Museum depicts the history of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan from the early 1920's until the present day. This unique museum affords the visitor an insight into the history of the Kingdom through the exhibited cars from the era of King Abdullah I, the founder of the Kingdom, to the era of King Abdullah II. The featured cars also highlight the life of the late King Hussein and his reign..Rare photo archives and video footage are shown throughout the museum, highlighting the many aspects of the late King Hussein’s leadership. A multimedia room, a library as well as a souvenir shop are available to enable a comprehensive historical experience. Car buffs can feast their eyes on a 1952 Lincoln Capri, a 1936 Cord 810 and a sport 1955 Mercedes Benz 300SL which are just a few of the ‘wheels’ on display.
