This fascinating tour takes you from the stunning highlands and haunting Altiplano (plateau) in Bolivia right across the Peruvian border to the town of Puno, crossing the magnificent Lake Titicaca and its ancient islands along the way.

Get an inkling of Bolivia’s indigenous Amerindian population as you pass mud houses on the way to the village of Puerto Perez. An oasis of sapphire blue in the barren landscape of the Altiplano, Lake Titicaca is as fascinating as it is mysterious. Sacred to the Aymara Indians and the Incas, its gemlike waters will entrance you as you cruise to the islands of Pariti and Kalahuta. Dabble with the local Indian community who continue to eke out a living from agriculture, fishing and boat building.
