Lake Chini, famous for its lush tropical forests and plentiful animal and bird life, attracts many visitors. It is also the habitat for numerous fish species. The chief attraction, is the lake, when it is covered with blooming lotuses. Kuantan lies on the east coast of peninsula Malaysia. The city is a stop-over for visitors heading north, south or across the peninsula. While the city has not much to offer, there are many terrific locations and interesting sights around that are worth a visit.
