See the impressive Tiananmen Square, the largest square in the world and synonymous with several key events in Chinese history. Explore the legendary Forbidden City, the largest and most complete imperial palace and ancient building complex in China, and the world. It was the seat of power of 24 Chinese emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties. The Great Wall is a marvel of ancient Chinese engineering, and the Badaling section is a prime, preserved example of this colossal structure. This section, with an average altitude of over 1,000 meters was an ancient military stronghold. It is a magnificent creation and the views it provides are truly breath taking.
