The 30 kilometer long Perito Moreno with a height of 60 meters above sea level is only the beginning…The only glacier that is not retreating in the world, Glacier Moreno’s extending tongue of ice has divided ‘Lago Argentino’ (Argentine Lake) in two and is a magnificent spectacle of nature’s architecture. A phenomenal auditory experience if you are lucky to witness it, is when ice crashes and collapses into the iceberg channel with a deafening roar. More adventure awaits you with a visit to the Upsala glacier, larger than Glacier Moreno with 595 square kilometers. An other-worldly experience, Onelli Bay is dotted with ice bergs reflecting a blue light that is enhanced with age. Words cannot quite do justice to the mighty glaciers but it is an experienceyou are unlikely to ever forget!
