Spend a perfect family vacation at the Walvis Bay, a port city with the Namib Desert on one side and the Atlantic Ocean on the other. Begin your cruise from the Walvis Bay Yacht Club, and on ski boats, cut across the 3000 year old lagoon which is regarded as the most important wetland for resident and Palaearctic birds. Its coastline is a flurry of colours with flaming flamingos scampering on the sands. Moving towards the lighthouse you cruise closer to Pelican Point. With its jetty and coastline carpeted with pelicans, the view from the ski boats is lovely. Watch Dolphins somersault in the water and if you’re lucky, you’ll spot all the three varieties - Heavyside, Dusky and Atlantic Bottlenose. As you pass the huge colony of seals, you could offer them a bite even as you enjoy a glass of bubbly with delicious fresh oysters on the deck. Enjoy this Namibian trip as you cruise around Walvis Bay, making this a perfect family vacation!
