This holiday, you will be drawn into a celebration of life as you swim with tropical fish, wander amongst lazy sea lions and dive into the mysterious depths of the ocean.Beginning from the colonial capital of Quito, spend the day strolling around the ‘old town’, savoring the old world charm of one of South America’s best-preserved colonial cities. Add some equatorial magic as you visit the Equatorial Monument and straddle two hemispheres! The next day, your island adventure will begin as you arrive at Galapagos Islands. A group of volcanic islands, you will be awed by underwater craters and the unusual landscape of the islands. Warm up for a week of diving in the mysterious underwater kingdom with introductory dives at Academy Bay. A marine extravaganza now waits as you dive into the waters off Gordon Rock into the 32-meter depth of a crater. Seymour, Bartolome, Cousins’ Rock and Daphne islet will also fascinate you with its teeming marine life. Shoals of tropical fish, hammerheads, turtles, manta rays, fur sea lions, white tip sharks and garden eels will accompany you on this journey to the magical world of life under water. Wall dive off Cousins’ Rock and you will find a profusion of black coral, seahorses and frogfish that promise to fascinate you throughout your adventure. Top off your deep-sea experience with dolphin watching at Floreana Island and you will experience a sense of utter delight. Not to be left behind, lazy sea lions, wobbling penguins, swooping frigates and blue-footed boobies will also vie for your attention.
