Drive through the famous 16th century Venetian Walls of Nicosia before crossing the 'Green Line' into Northern Nicosia, and notice the immediate difference. The North is older and more traditional than the modern capital city in the South.

High in the Pentadaktylos Mountain ranges are the ruins of the once magnificent 800-year old Abbey of Bellapais. Get spectacular views down to Kerynia on the coast and across the northern plains.
