Relax on the beaches of Kovalam and watch the mesmerizing scenic beauty of coconut trees swaying in the wind and the azure blue waters lapping against the shore. Kovalam has three big adjacent crescent beaches namely the Lighthouse Beach, Hawah beach and Samudra beach. Hawah beach has the distinction of being India’s first topless beach. Although not allowed anymore except in private coves owned by resorts, it is nonetheless, a great attraction. Kovalam is also famous for its scenic beauty and range of water sports.
