Want to spend your holiday playing with cape fur seals? Namibia’s Cape Cross is the ideal location to get close to these mammals. So once you are there check out the little external ears unique to the cape fur seals.You will find groups of these cape fur seals lazing on the shores and playfully swimming in the sea. These seals have huge appetite for local fishes and have earned the wrath of local fishermen for it. The male cape fur seals are enormous and weigh around 187 to 360 kgs. So you can easily guess the male seals from the much lighter female ones. If you see a seal zealously protecting 5 to 25 females do not be surprised. The male cape fur seals are very romantic and would do anything to protect their beloved. Surprisingly, these seals are friendlier in water than on land. So if you want to make friends try swimming.
