To the South of Phuket lies the island of Ko Racha Yai. This lovely island offers gentle easy diving. Beneath the water you'll find a sea bed with a sloping rock face dotted with hard coral forests, and especially colourful blue Staghorn corals. Phuket is Thailand’s most visited destination. The area is famous for its jagged coastline, beautiful sandy bays and lush tropical vegetation and environment. Phuket is the undisputed centre for snorkelling, diving and scuba diving. The island is virtually encircled by superb diving sites, one of which is Shark Point.
