Budapest by Night and Dinner |
See Budapest, illuminated by night and enjoy a sumptuous dinner in the Buda Castle district
| Overview | |
Budapest by night is fascinating. From Halászbástya (the Fishermen’s Bastion) get a panoramic view of the city, illuminated to look its best. Capture the picturesque view in your camera. See the floodlit buildings along the river Danube as you cross Lánchíd (the Chain Bridge). After driving along Andrássy út, the famous Budapest boulevard, you will reach Hosök tere (Hero’s Square), another excellent spot to take pictures. It is one of the major squares of Budapest and is surrounded by two important buildings, Museum of Fine Arts on the left and Palace of Art (or Art Exhibition Museum) on the right. The central site of the square, as well as a landmark of Budapest, is the Millennium Memorial with statues of the leaders of the seven tribes that founded Hungary in the 9th century. This tour also gives you the opportunity to enjoy a sumptuous meal in an old world restaurant as lively gypsy music plays in the background.
