Broome is the considered the gateway to the Kimberley Region in Western Australia. It is a major ‘pearling’ town where many farmers produce cultured pearls. The Broome Historical Society Museum is a good place to learn about Broome’s ‘pearling’ past, Aboriginal roots and its ‘one day war’. This tour will also take you to Sun Pictures, the world’s oldest operating open-air picture garden. The highlight of this tour is a visit to Cable Beach, a long stretch with beautiful white sand and crystal clear turquoise water.
