Always wanted to climb a volcano? This is your chance then. Trek up Mount Batur situated 1,717 meters above sea level and enjoy the spectacular view of the blue ocean, Mount Rinjani in Lombok, Mount Abang, and Mount Agung. On top of the Batur volcano, it is possible to stay very close to some of the craters and also walk through the black stoned lava that flowed out from the second crater. The trek to the summit is truly a scenic delight. Catch the magnificent sight of the red sky and a spectacular sunrise from the top of the volcano. After hiking, take a dip in the pool formed by hot mineral springs. This adventure-filled trek and the mineral pool dip are sure to leave you rejuvenated!
