Journey into a Jurassic-Park like setting a short distance outside of Bangkok to the Samut Prakan Crocodile Farm and Zoo, and see more than 60,000 crocodiles, including the largest known Siamese crocodile, named Yai, in their natural habitat! This farm is also an education and research centre for the conservation of wildlife, so grab this opportunity to learn about these reptiles from experts. The Ancient City, or Muang Boran, is dubbed as the world's largest outdoor museum. It features 109 scaled-down copies of Thailand's famous monuments and architectural attractions. The replicas were constructed with the assistance of experts from the National Museum to ensure historical accuracy. Outstanding works include the former Grand Palace of Ayutthaya (destroyed in the Burmese invasion of 1767), sculptures from the Thai epic story, the Ramakien, and a fabulous display of the Royal Barge procession.
