Spend seven days exploring the peaks and valleys of the Atlas Mountains. Many of the treasures of this region are tucked away atop remote mountain tops or at the bottom of deep valleys, this means that hiking is the ideal way to explore the area. Visit Ouirgane, the village of the Berber tribes of Africa, enjoy the picturesque surroundings with lemon, lime and grapefruit orchards, date palms and thousands of rose bushes. At the village of Tassa Ouir (meaning the centre of flowers), hike up through juniper and redwoods to stop for a picnic in the midst of walnut trees in the valley of the Assif Azerzeane. Pass through Berber hamlets, walnut and apple trees and plots of barley and corn to reach the village of Tizziane. This seven day hiking tour in Morocco is a challenging yet rewarding experience and shows you the off-the-beaten-track Morocco which most tourists never see.
