On this wonderful tour you will spend 5 days exploring the Atlas Mountains on horseback. Highlights include a visit to the magnificent Ait Ben Haddou- a a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Kasbahs here are built so close together that they look like a single building! Also visit the magnificent valley of one thousand Kasbahs - the Dades Valley - and enjoy the stunning beauty of the oasis and its palm groves against the backdrop of the High Atlas range. Ride horseback along an ancient caravan trail, past rose bushes, palm groves, olive trees and pretty ethnic villages into the High Atlas Mountains, until you get to the Berber village of Tighrt, on a little plateau by a stream. On your adventure trip in Morocco, travel over the sun-blasted foothills of the Western High Atlas to the Kasbah at Hdida. Ride through the Dades gorge and you'll see villages perched on the cliff top and strategically placed Kasbahs among clumps of palm trees. With a visit to the Berber tribal villages in the dramatic Atlas landscape, will make this a unique Moroccan holiday.
