With wildlife galore and stunning natural wonders, Arusha National Park is a must visit!
| Overview | |
Visit the 137 square kilometres Arusha National Park in Tanzania and spot a huge variety of African wildlife in the wilderness. With Mount Kilimanjaro and Meru Mountain in the backdrop, this reserve is visually arresting as well. Visit the 20 kilometres wide and 100 metres high Ngurdoto Crater and the Momela Lakes, one of the many alkaline lakes in the East African Rift Valley. The Ngurdoto Crater, with its surrounding forests and a swampy crater floor is a must visit. The millions of years old Momela Lakes, believed to have been formed by the volcanic debris of Mount Meru, is another of nature’s wonders that is not to be missed! You could also come across African wildlife like giraffes, antelopes, buffaloes, leopards, hyenas, baboons, rhinos, elephants, hippos and monkeys and a large variety of birds like flamingos. With wildlife galore and stunning natural wonders, Arusha National Park is a must visit on this Tanzanian wilderness holiday!
