Situated on the border of Brazil and Argentina, the 275 Iguassu Falls plunge over a precipice more than a mile and a half wide with an average drop of 300 feet to the Iguazu River below. The Iguassu National Park along with its “sister” park in Argentina form the most significant remaining rainforest in the southern cone of South America which along with the waterfalls have been declared a National Heritage Site by UNESCO. Board a glass elevator to the top of Floriano Falls and on to the mist-shrouded Puerto Canoas, with the roar of the waterfalls in your ears.
