Colonial Williamsburg is a living history museum where more than 500 18th-century buildings have been restored. This sightseeing tour of Colonial Williamsburg allows you to view some of the finest examples of Georgian architecture, 18th century furnishings, and gardens landscaped with plants known only to colonial horticulturists. It consists of many of the buildings that, from 1699 to 1780, formed colonial Virginia's capital. Prominent buildings in Colonial Williamsburg include the Raleigh Tavern, the Capitol, The Governor's Palace, and Bruton Parish Church.
