|
Spend the day at the Aquila Private Game Reserve and you will come across some of the Big Five. Set out on a game safari in an open-vehicle and spot wildlife such as lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo and rhino besides giraffe, wildebeest and zebra. Do not forget to keep an eye out for the rare and endangered Black Eagle from which the reserve got its name. If visiting the reserve anytime from July through September, you could also see the brightly coloured flowering Karoo plant. End your day studying etches at San Bushman rock art painting sites, dating back 10,000 years!
