The seaside health resort town of Druskininkai in southern Lithuania has attracted tourists for many years. Apart from its famous mineral rich waters and healing mud, the town is home to some of Lithuania’s most attractive natural scenery. The Grūto Parkas contains sculptures which were originally built to honour the soviet leaders. It is a major attraction and draws tourists from across the world.
