Set against the backdrop of the snow-capped 5895 metre high Mount Kilimanjaro, Amboseli National Park is a sight to behold. Travel to Amboseli Serena Lodge and you can relax in tastefully appointed rooms with African murals and paintings. Tuck into a hearty lunch and you’ll be raring to set out on a late afternoon wildlife safari. Lookout for buffaloes, lions, gazelles, warthogs, zebras and Masai giraffes for which this reserve is home. The sight of wild elephants walking along, with Mt Kilimanjaro in the background is also something you will not want to miss.
