Journey to Kangaroo Island by ferry and on arrival head out in search of kangaroos, koalas and echnidnas with the help of your knowledgeable guide. Enjoy a guided beach walk at Seal Bay and see the fascinating colonies of Australian sea lions. Enjoy a gourmet picnic lunch which is followed by a bushwalk.A birdwatcher's haven, there are over 250 species of birds on Kangaroo Island.During the next day, discover the natural wonders of Flinders Chase National Park where you have the opportunity of viewing NZ fur seals in their natural environment. View the unique geological formation of Admirals Arch and the delicately balanced granite domes of the Remarkable Rocks. Enjoy a picnic lunch in a bush setting, after which you will tour the wilderness in a 4WD. As dusk approaches, groups of kangaroos and other native animals move out into the open to graze – you may have the opportunity to get close to one of them.The next day, tour Eastern Kangaroo Island and learn about the historic meeting of the English and the French here in 1803.Stop at the Kangaroo Island Visitor Centre. Enjoy lunch with spectacular views over the sea. After lunch visit the Cape Willoughby Lighthousewith a ranger and climb Prospect Hill for amazing views of the region before your return to the mainland on either the 6.35 p.m. flight OR 7:30pm ferry back to Adelaide.
