This tour will show you the major National Parks in northern Australia, awesome Aborigine rock sites such as Ubirr and Nourlangie and give you the opportunity to enjoy a cruise with an Aborigine guide. The Litchfield National Park covers an area of approximately 1500 square kilometers and is one of the famous parks in Australia’s ‘Top End’. It is famous for its fabulous waterfalls that cascade down the Tabletop Range, the intriguing termite mounds and the bushwalking tracks. Common wildlife species found in the Park include the Antilopine Wallaroo, Agile Wallaby, Sugar Glider, Northern Brushtail Possum besides a variety of birds. The Nitmiluk National Park is home to 13 spectacular gorges, notably the stunning Katherine Gorge, carved out of the rock by torrential summer rains over millions of years. Kakadu National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Park has great ecological and biological diversity: it is home to four major river systems, six landforms such as estuaries, floodplains, southern hills and basins besides an amazing variety of plant and animal life.
