A short flight from Adelaide and the day is yours with kangaroos and koalas, wallabies and wine. Spend two days exploring an island that is teeming with native bushland, wildlife and pristine beaches. On day one, explore a colony of fur seals on a Seal Bay Discovery tour and at the Parndana Wildlife Park you can see, hear and touch native animals and birds. At Clifford’s Honey Farm you can dip your fingers in pure Ligurian bee honey and, at night, join little penguins on their nightly procession from the waters around Kingscote and Penneshaw to their beach burrows. Hit the wild trail on day two. At the Emu Ridge Eucalyptus Distillery watch how traditional Bush products like solvents and stain removers are made. Walk with wallabies and kangaroos at Flinders Chase National Park, have a picnic in the shade of Remarkable Rocks and Admirals Arch, adding zing with cheese from the Island Pure Sheep Dairy.
