Karijini National Park Sightseeing Tour |
With plunging gorges, swimming holes and dramatic landscapes, Karijini is nature’s paradise!
| Overview | |
Admire the sheer beauty of the Karijini National Park in Western Australia. Karijini National Park is the second largest national park in WA, home to a variety of birds, red kangaroos, euros, rock-wallabies, echidnas, bats, geckos, goannas, dragons, legless lizards and pythons, as well as an enormous variety of flora. It hosts the fantastic Hamersley Range and its stunning rocky contours. Oxers Lookout offers a panoramic view of the Joffre, Hancock, Red and Weano Gorges. There is a choice of two walking trails from the Lookout, one that leads to Hancock Gorge and the other to Weano Gorge. Knox Gorge is also extremely fascinating, whether you peer down from above or look up from within the gorge. With crystal clear water and sand bars, this gorge shimmers during the day. The Karijini Visitor Centre has a range of artefacts interpreting the natural and cultural history of Karijini, plus relics about its geology, flora, fauna and the aboriginal people. If you’re visiting Western Australia, this tour to Karijini National Park is something you will not want to miss.
