Doubtful Sound, located in the World Heritage Area of Fjordland, is an overwhelming place. Feel the awesome power of Nature here - the remoteness, the wilderness and the peace. Doubtful Sound is the second largest of the 14 fjords in Fjordland National Park and is three times longer and 10 times larger than Milford Sound. Towering peaks, several outstanding waterfalls and fiords clad with ancient vegetation create a powerful atmosphere of solitude and serenity.
