  • Overview & Itinerary

    Overview

Set out from the Costa del Sol on a historical tour of Seville, the capital city of Andalucia. You will appreciate one of the finest works of gothic and baroque architecture at the Cathedral of Seville. Wander around the cathedral and you will come across an altar and tomb where Christopher Columbus is said to have been buried.

Marvel at the sheer height of the La Giralda tower on this historical tour of Seville. This magnificent structure stands approximately 97 metres tall and was constructed in several distinct parts from different cultures.

On this cultural sightseeing tour in Andalucia, stroll along the narrow Jewish Quarter and you will see hidden squares, courtyards with fountains, orange groves and old houses. With a visit to the third largest cathedral in Europe and the colourfully tiled Spanish Square, a historical tour of Seville is a must-do for any visitor to Andalucia.

    Itinerary

This tour will start with a morning pick up from your designated point. Accompanied by a guide, you will be taken in an air-conditioned coach for a guided tour of Seville.

The journey to Seville takes about 3 hours with a coffee stop en route. The coach will go past some of the Pavilions of the 1929 Latin American Exhibition. You have about 1½ hours of free time to wander around the city centre and have lunch (not included).

At around 1330h (1:30pm), set out on a guided tour of the Cathedral of Seville, which is the third largest cathedral in Europe. Built in the 15th and 16th century on the grounds of a former Arab mosque, the cathedral is one of the finest examples of Gothic and baroque architectural styles.

Then at 1430h (2:30pm), take a guided tour of the Jewish Quarter and find out more about the history and culture of this beautiful city.

At 1530h (3:30pm), take a panoramic tour by bus of the main sites including some of the 1929 pavilions, Parque de Santa Maria and a 15-20 minute stop at Plaza de España, the main pavilion of the 1929 Exhibition.

Depart from the city at approximately 1630h (4:30pm) and return to your original departure point at around 2000h - 2100h (8:00pm - 9:00pm) with a coffee stop en route.
