Awesome show! Loved every minute of it!
We had dinner and show at Moulin Rouge. The tour company was easy to find and you met in their office before heading to the bus. The show itself was amazing - I loved every minute and would go see it again in a flash!!

The show of a lifetime
The Moulin Rouge experience was something else - this part of the tour was an experience not to be missed - it brought reality to what hitherto had only been in pictures and movies and it was every bit as good!! The organisation by the tour staff in getting us there, into the theatre and then back to our hotel was faultless.

Already imbued with legendary status before Baz Lurhman’s production of Moulin Rouge! hit the screens in 2001 the club has inspired a new generation of cabaret hungry spectators who flock to see the Moulin Rouge show every year. Though transformed from the original days of the Moulin Rouge when wives would dutifully wait outside the club in the scenic garden while their husbands were exposed to the delights of the raucous can-can dancers inside, the Moulin Rouge show, a must do in Paris, still invokes the traditions of Parisian cabaret.

Whoops of excitement and high powered energy hit the audience from the second the curtain goes up and they are soon infected by the scale of entertainment on offer. World-class skirt rufflers and high-kickers dance in unison with such enthusiasm throughout the Moulin Rouge show it is hard not to be won over by their timing, athletic skill and dramatic power. Founded in 1889 as a somewhat bawdy club where the dancers would have the sole aim of seducing potential clients in what was known to be a high-class brothel. However, this soon progressed into a more respectable establishment at the turn of the last century and became known as a hot house for the most talented dancers in Pairs. These performers with almost Olympic stamina and physical strength took the can-can from being a vulgar excuse for flashing flesh to a highly skilled and entertaining art form which quickly spread across the globe. .
Nowadays, years of planning go into each show, and a new one is set to be unleashed in 2012. The current spectacle, the Feerie Show, contains 69 songs and makes incredible use of over 100 artists, including the peerless Doriss girls, acrobats, magicians and clowns. The Moulin Rouge show never fails to astound and surprise, and although the new show is set to be even more spectacular than the current one it seems they have their work cut out. Of all the techniques used by the Moulin Rouge to ensure the shocking nature of the show the most outrageous has to be a giant, snake-filled aquarium onstage in which daring dancers perform and keep the audience on the edge of their seats. Evenings at the world famous cabaret of Paris, the Moulin Rouge, can be combined with a three course meal with drinks included. Fine French food is served with a choice of either the Toulouse Lautrec or the French Cancan menus. Treat yourself to an evening at the most popular cabaret in the world.
