Very well-presented trip to Normandy and extremely educational review of D-Day Landing. Our 2 guides were very impressive, the tour buses were modern and comfortable and enough time was given to see everything on the agenda.MARIA L RAFA, United States
This tour was well organised and very friendly. Loved it. Highly recommended!Mrs A J Gill, United Kingdom
A fantastic and moving tour. I was especially moved by the landings at Pointe du Hoc and Omaha Beach. The cemetary was very emotional. Your guide was superb. I highly recommend it to everyone! The only disappointment were the private homes built so close to the landings. The beaches are sacred ground and should not be descrated by irrelvent buildings.Thomas B Trayer, United States

Normandy tours from Paris offer you a unique choice of experiences to remember, from visiting the beaches where thousands of Allied troops landed on D-Day to officially start World War 2 in Europe. Visit the location of the 1944 battle of Normandy and home to nearby Omaha military cemetery, to the picturesque landscape that inspired such famous paintings including 'Water lilies,' and even the architecture of the various towns of Normandy, including Le Havre, Cherbourg and Rouen.
Beautiful areas like Giverny, nestled on the River Seine, La Roche Guyon and Vernon offer you time to immerse yourself in classic French towns with their culture and food not to be missed. Les Andelys Castle, stronghold of Richard the Lion heart, is a particularly beautiful building on most Normandy tours. With all of these day trips from Paris there is something for everyone, from the historians, to the couples looking for romantic trips, to families looking to show their children some of the natural beauty and culture of one of France's most famous regions.
With so many things to do in Normandy, you can choose Normandy tours that include being driven in a classic French car such as a 1952 Citroen Traction, while you sit back and watch the stunning countryside go by. Visit the famous Mont St Michel cathedral, which dates back to the 8th century. For the art lovers, Giverny American Art Museum, stunning gardens and the house of world-famous impressionist painter Monet, with the pond and Japanese bridge made famous by his 'Water lilies' paintings, offer numerous activities. Normandy is also home to 4 National parks, many awe-inspiring chateaus and scenery that spurned the growth of impressionism.
