This tour is available in two options – coach and private. The private option offers you greater flexibility and air-conditioned comfort and you can spend as much or as little time at any of the places that you visit. Unlike the tight schedules of coach tours, the private option allows you to do the tour at your own pace.
You will be picked up from your hotel in Phuket/the airport early in the morning and taken to the pier to board a cruiser which will take you to the beautiful Phi Phi Islands. A comfortable 1.5 hour cruise later, you will arrive at the Phi Phi Islands, some of the loveliest in Southeast Asia. Refreshments will be served on board.
There are two islands, Phi Phi Don and Phi Phi Ley. The first stop is at the Phi Phi Don, the larger of the two islands. It has a village set among the coconut plantations and offers sheer limestone cliffs, fine sand beaches and hidden coves.
After lunch, the afternoon is spent swimming and snorkeling in the crystal clear waters where natural coral and multicolored fish can be clearly seen. Unlike many of the islands, there are no cars on Phi Phi Don. ‘Roads’ are simply small tracks that criss-cross the island, so getting around is easy. Simply take a local long-tail boat, or walk.
The next stop will be at the Phi Phi Ley island.Phi Phi Ley is uninhabited and entirely composed of steep limestone cliffs, caves and small rocky coves. There are several beautiful bays ideal for shallow snorkelling, and on the northeast side, the famous Tham Phraya Nak or The Viking Cave, contains prehistoric paintings.
At the end of the tour, you will be dropped back at your hotel in Phuket/ the airport at around 1700h (5:00pm).
