Have a surreal experience in the beautiful Phang Nga Bay while sea canoeing among its numerous sea caves and lagoons.

The one hundred islands in the Bay are full of hidden caves and inland lagoons known as "hongs" (rooms) that are only accessible at certain time of the day when the tide is convenient. Drift on your inflatable kayaks through fascinating caverns and wonderful stalactites, the result of calcite dripping over many thousands of years. The dark passages and the silence on the water create an atmosphere of anticipation and excitement. The caves pen into an inner lagoon, an unspoiled place is open to the sky and as we gently paddle around with vegetation, birds singing and insects whining, we maintain silence and just look and listen…this is undisturbed nature.

The scenic island of Lawa nearby throws a tempting invitation with its sun kissed beaches of white sand. This is an ideal family holiday package in Phuket, with ample opportunities to indulge in sun bathing, swimming or just enjoying Nature.

Itinerary

This tour is available in two options – coach and private. The private option offers you greater flexibility- you can spend as much time at any of the places you visit, as per your preference.

Early morning pick-up from your hotel in Phuket/the airport and transfer to the Ao Po pier from where you will depart to the Phang Nga Bay Island in a comfortable escort boat. You will be served soft drinks, water, ice and fresh fruits on the boat.

• On reaching the Phang Nga Bay, you will leave your boat to board a sea canoe, the safe inflatable kayaks, and proceed to explore the inland tidal lagoons known as 'hongs'. Your guide will paddle the kayak for you as you travel through sea caves, sea tunnels and lagoons in the Bay. The silently moving kayaks will take you through mangrove swamps, picturesque lagoons and small passageways that open to majestic caves, offering views of the best of Phang Nga Bay’s amazing landscapes.

• Return to your boat. Enjoy a delicious lunch while cruising to the scenic Lawa Island, nestled in the Phang Nga Bay. Your lunch includes a meal, soft drinks, water, tea and coffee.

• Swim, self paddle, or simply laze on the white sandy beach for relaxation at Lawa Island.

• Return by boat to the Ao Po pier in Phuket.

At the end of the tour, you will be transferred to your hotel in Phuket/ the airport at around 1700h (05:00pm).
