This tour is available in two options – coach and private. The private option offers you greater flexibility and you can spend as much or as little time at any of the places that you visit. Unlike the tight schedules of coach tours, the private option allows you to do the tour at your own pace.
You will be picked up from your hotel/directly from the airport in Phuket and taken in either a coach or private air-conditioned vehicle (depending on the chosen option) for a whole day’s sightseeing to the Phang Nga Bay Island.
Here you will visit:
• James Bond Island: This landmark, called Koh Ping-gan, became internationally famous through its starring role in the James Bond movie "The Man With the Golden Gun". Lime stone cliffs surround this island, and the signature rocky pinnacle in its centre, is indeed spectacular.
• Pannyi Sea- Gypsy Village: This is a remarkable village, the whole of it built out over water on stilts and with a giant rock monolith guarding its rear. The inhabitants are native Malayan-speaking tribes - the “Sea Gypsy” people - called moken. These nomadic sea farers are believed to be the first dwellers of the Andaman coastal regions of Thailand, Myanmar and Malaysia.
Your tour will break for lunch here after which you may also shop for local handicrafts at the quaint shops that dot the village.
At the end of the tour, the coach will take you back to your hotel in Phuket/the airport at around 1700h (5:00pm).
