Carmen Mota has been thrilling audiences for 16 years in Tenerife with her presentations of pure flamenco with a modern twist.

The current show “Evolución” traces the development of flamenco and demonstrates the various dance forms – such as ballet, traditional Andalusian folk dances and Spanish jigs or tangos – that have influenced it. The brilliant dancers of the Carmen Mota ballet Company portray flamenco as an unstoppable force with a life of its own.
