Mamanuca and Yasawa Islands Tours, Sightseeing and Things to do

Relax! You haven't reached heaven. You've just landed on the paradisiacal islands of Mamanuca (pronounced Mah-mah-noo-tha) and Yasawa. On this spectacular mini archipelago, you can dive into deep blue waters, snorkel, swim or kayak your way through the pearly gates of innumerable coral reefs. On land, relax in a thatched hut or 'bure' in the villagers-owned and run Wayasera or crawl into the snake-like limestone caves of Wailotu Caves on the island of Wailotulailai. Barely 40 kms north west of Viti Levu, the Mamanuca islands sweep in an arc and join the spectacular Yasawa chain, the setting for the movie, the Blue Lagoon. Here, instead of electricity you have electrifying moments with underwater creatures that brush past your face. Instead of air-conditioning, you cool off with dives into the South Pacific waters and air out under the swaying leaves of a coconut palm with a chilled cocktail for company. Take a sip, take a sigh, you're in heaven, or the closest thing near it.
