Itinerary

Your 20 minute Atlantico Cape Town Helicopter Flight begins at the V&A Waterfront.

You will board your helicopter and enjoy dazzling panoramas of the city and Table Mountain as your chopper gains height.

Your pilot will head along the coast giving you bird’s eye views of Llandudno, the Chapman’s Peak drive, and the Table Mountain range. On the way he or she will tell you all about the places you can see.

Picture-perfect Llandudno is one of the loveliest beaches in Cape Town, surrounded by bushes, trees and giant boulders and popular with surfers.

On the rocks near Llandudno you can see the remains of the tanker Romelia shipwrecked in 1977 after the tow rope snapped and the tug lost control.

Next door to Llandudno you will see Hout Bay fishing village, sandwiched between the mountains and the sea.

Near Hout Bay is the famous Seal Island where thousands of Cape fur seals congregate. The island is a long, narrow outcrop of bare Cape granite rising no more than about 6 meters above the high tide mark.

The seas around Seal Island are the hunting ground of great white sharks which come to feed on the seals.

At Seal Island your chopper will turn around and return to the V&A Waterfront where your airborne adventure ends.
