Overview

Move over buses and bikes and explore San Francisco’s coveted Golden Gate Park in a unique way. With the Golden Gate Park Segway Tour, you will visit some of the major landmarks inside the Golden Gate Park by segway.

A combination of designated trails, bike paths and low speed-light traffic streets are used to conduct the guided tour of the Park.

The guide will tell you about the important sites on the route. Your experienced and fun tour guide will narrate your tour through a compact single ear-bud sound system. Each guest is issued a compact radio receiver so they don't miss a detail of what the guide is saying about each site seen on the tour.

Some of the sites covered are The de Young Museum, The California Academy of Sciences, The Music Concourse & Temple of Music, Lily Pond, Fern Grotto and Storybook Cross and The Historic Carousel & The Lawn Bowling Courts.

Itinerary

To begin your Golden Gate Park Segway Tour, you will meet your guide at 82 Hagiwara Tea Garden Drive, San Francisco CA 94118, where he will be waiting on a segway. Before starting your tour, you will undergo a 40 minute training session with your guide on how to ride the segway and few safety tips.

After the training session, you will explore the Golden Gate Park for 2 hours. It is the third most visited park in the United States. The park is a mix of beautiful gardens, veritable museums, and unique flora and fauna.

The guide will take you 8 miles of the Eastern part of the park which covers famous landmarks and seldom explored areas. On the way, the guide will also share notes and anecdotes about the sites visited.

    Great tour of the Golden Gate Park, Veri Comprehensive and Guide Very Knowledgable Learned manny things of the park that I did not know before even I have been to the park at least 5 times. Very fun to do, you dont get tired and cover areas of the park that you normally would cover in a whole day with feat swetting
