After leaving San Francisco, your route takes you through the idyllic scenery of Napa, Marin County and the attractive rolling hills of Carneros, just south of Sonoma.
California has approximately 1400 wineries. Nearly half are in Napa and Sonoma counties, within 100 miles from San Francisco. Nature and history have blessed this region with a variety of soil types, terrains, micro-climates, and an influx of European wine-making talent to create a world-class wine-producing industry. There are about 650 wineries in Napa and Sonoma counties, representing some of the most famous brands in the US, and even the world. This constitutes what many people call 'The Wine Country'.
On this tour, you have the chance to visit three to four of the top wineries in the region and sample the excellent products. Lunch is not included in your package but can be taken at a restaurant of your choice or at an eatery recommended by your driver/guide.
