The cruise starts from the Sant' Angelo Bridge which links the city centre and the Castel Sant'Angelo, the mausoleum of Emperor Hadrian. As you cruise down the river Tiber you will be given a glimpse into the history of the glorious Roman civilisation that once flourished on the banks of the river. Tiber Island is a unique boat-shaped island in a bend of the river Tiber. On the island is the ancient temple of Aesculapius the Greek god of medicine and healing. This Tiber cruise is a wonderfully relaxing way to learn about the history of Rome and see some of the city's most spectacular sites.
